The Tearful Goodbye

Today was the day my husband left. It was a somber day at my house and will be for a while. I am getting caught up on my orders which is a huge relief. One of my big school orders is finished while the other is close to being done. The last school I made 140 bows and headbands for and I just found out I have more orders coming in from there. My kids are helping me sort the hair bows and headbands for the next school, which has even more bows and headbands. Sometimes they are a big help and sometimes they can make me fall a little behind. I am off to make bows and am leaving you with a little cutie wearing my famous double ruffle bowband. My customers can't seem to get enough of them!

The Countdown Begins

My husband is being deployed overseas for 400 days. The countdown for him to leave begins. I have been busy filling orders and trying to spend some quality time together as a family as he leaves in a little over a week. It is hard to juggle both right now since I have 2 huge school orders I am trying to complete along with 2 home parties this week. I am making it work though. I am leaving you with an adorable picture of one of my customers, which I named this hat after.
